The "background" picture I took was when I was on vacation over spring break. We had been driving for a while that day, so we decided to stop and stay at a Motel right on the beach. This was a picture of the sunset before we went on the beach for a night walk. It is one of my favorite pictures from my trip because it reminds me of one of my favorite shows (Outer Banks) and is just very pretty to look at and remember the warm weather.
The Background picture was taken in a parking lot when we were in SC. The reason I love this picture is not really what's in the picture but the location. This was the pizza place my mom used to work at in her hometown, (Bowling green Ohio) and he moved to SC to be closer to his daughters. So my mom was able to reunite with the same owner that used to own it in Ohio more than 20 years ago. This picture was taken in Frankenmuth, Michigan just before christmas. This is also a sentimental picture because every year right before christmas, we take a day trip to Frankenmuth. Although it is only a day trip, we always make the most out of it. Usually we eat at Zenders and go to our favorite stores to get each other gifts. It is one of my favorite family traditions and I look forward to it every year. |

When I used to work on a farm, I always loved seeing the sunset and was always a good way to get some cool photos. This is one of the pictures I captured and I really enjoy how you can see a little bit of the white fence but also how the treeline looks with the sunset. To me, it almost look like it is offsetting and balancing out the photograph.
I took this picture on the beach with my Holga camera. I wasn't expecting these to turn out very good at all, but I really like the result. I think with this edit, it makes it look really cool. I think it really emphasizes the crashing of the waves and makes the sunset very subtle in the background. This picture was taken on the beach looking "into" the city. We took a nightly beach walk and I really enjoy this pictures because it's almost like you can see the layers and different colors in the clouds. I like what this filter does to this picture because it really blows up the features that may have been missed by just looking at the picture. Although this picture is a little bit blurry, i really like how it fades into a very light blue with many different colors in between. I enjoy this picture because this was taken from our hotel room in South Carolina, Myrtle Beach. The reason I took this picture was because it's kinda what you think about when someone asks if you wanna go to the beach. You visualize a nice sunny day with little waves and a slight breeze and that's just what this day was. It was also so nice to be able to wake up and be able to walk right out to the ocean. This last picture was taken at my farm job. I really like this picture because the darker sky blue is such a pretty color and just dark enough that it gives that chill, night feeling. I really enjoy this picture because it blurs out of the ugly stuff. What I mean by that is the dirt and mud you may have seen if it was lighter was eliminated due to it being late enough to be dark. |
